Net Present Value (NPV)

Net Present Value means the quantification of the environmental sciences provided for the forest area diverted for non-forestry use, as may be determined by an expert committee appointed by the Central Govt. from time to time in this regard.
Net Present Value (NPV) which includes the following activities:-

• - Assisted Natural Regeneration (ANR)
• - Artificial Regeneration (Non-CA Plantation-Plantation under NPV)
• - Improvement of Wildlife Habitat
• - Infrastructure Development and Maintenance
• - Construction of building for frontline staff and officials
• - Soil and Moisture Conservation
• - Communication and Information Technology
• - Establishment, upgradation and Maintenance of Modern Nurseries and other planting stock production facilities for production of Quality Planting Material
• - Other activities, etc.
